Seamless Attachment Migration Across Environments

Move file attachments effortlessly securely, accurately, and automatically.

When business data is refreshed between environments such as UAT and Cloud Hosted Environments (CHE), attachments are often left behind and require manual handling. equire manual handling which increases the risk of missing files or broken links.

ATTACHMENTS eliminates this gap by ensuring that file are migrated together with business data in a synchronized and automated manner. Files are transferred directly between storage locations and correctly linked to their respective records in the target environment without manual intervention.

⚙️ How It Works

The system validates the environment configuration before executing attachment migration

Incomplete Environment Setup

If the Environment ID is entered, the Environment Type is set to a non-Production environment (Dev/UAT/Sandbox), Batch Processing is enabled, and OK is clicked: A batch job titled "Upload attachments to Azure Blob" is created.

Production Environment Restriction

If the Environment ID is not entered, Monitoring and Telemetry parameters under System administration → Setup are not configured, and Batch Processing is disabled, a warning message is displayed: "Environment setup is missing. Please configure Monitoring and telemetry parameters in System administration → Setup."

Batch Processing Enabled (Dev/Test)

If the Environment ID is entered but the Environment Type is set to Production and Batch Processing is disabled before clicking OK, the system displays the message: "Reattachment is not permitted in this type of environment."
